More Articles about Operation: Endgame

I found a lot of articles about the movie today. They don't have sth important but i thought it would be a good idea to compile them...

Operation Endgame TRAILER: Star-Studded, Violent Action-Comedy Movie Goes Straight To DVD (VIDEO)

It's pretty rare for a movie with this many stars to go straight to DVD, but after playing in only a handful of theaters, Operation: Endgame will do just that.
Directed by Fouad Mikati and starring Joe Anderson, Rob Corddry, Ellen Barkin, Odette Yustman, Zach Galifianakis, Emilie de Ravin, Maggie Q, Adam Scott, Brandon T. Jackson, Beth Grant, Bob Oedenkirk, Michael Hitchcock, Ving Rhames, and Jeffrey Tambor, the trailer for Operation: Endgame, which is a comedy-action flick, was just released--and it's definitely not safe for your children to watch. (Mostly due to large amounts of profanity.)
The movie is about a war between rival government spy cells after their boss is assassinated. The DVD and BlueRay release date is set for July 27, 2010.

New Trailer for Operation Endgame
Here a movie like looks like it could be rather entertaining. Operation Endgame looks like an action, comedy, parody movie of all espionage style movies that go before it!
The movie stars Rob Corddry we recently saw in Hot Tub Time Machine alongside Zack Galifianakis, Emilie de Ravin, Ving Rhames, Ellen Barkin, Odette Yustman, Maggie Q  and Jeffrey Tambor. Latino Review gave me the heads up on this one and whey mention that it only had a limited thetrical run and will be going to DVD pretty soon.
No information as yet what will happen in the UK but we can keep you posted.

TrailerWatch: Green and Red Band Trailers for Operation: Endgame
In our first true TrailerWatch post in awhile we crawled the web until we found 2 trailers for the same movie, one green and one red. When we watch the trailers we got really excited about the film. Operation: Endgame features the likes of Rob Corrdry, Ving Rhames, Zach Galifianiks, Maggie Q, Adam Scott, Bob Odenkirk and Jeffrey Tambor.
According to other websites who have posted the trailer this project was listed under another title during its production called Rogues Gallery. The film is basically, an action-comedy that sees two teams of government spies pitted against one another. I have to say these trailers have come out of nowhere. What is even the bigger kicker is that this movie is not getting a theatrical release as it will go straight to Blu-ray and DVD.
Are you kidding me? I mean all of these dudes in the film are mega comedy stars now. Zach Galifiankis is huge right now with The Hangover, Rob Corrdry with Hot Tub Time Machine, Adam Scott with Party Down and now Parks and Rec. I mean what studio ass made that decision? Unless this movie didn’t test well but that is all I can guess at this point unless Darko Entertainment went out of business.
Anyway watch the epic trailer(s) below for Operation: Endgame, written by Brian Watanabe and Abe Levy, and directed by Fouad Mikati.
A battle ensues among groups of government spy teams in an underground facility after their boss is assassinated. The film tells the story of The Fool (Joe Anderson), the latest recruit of a secret organization that employs two competing teams of spies and assassins, all taking their codenames from the Tarot deck. Taken under the not-so-sheltering wings of Judgment (Ving Rhames) and the High Priestess (Maggie Q), the Fool has to learn the ropes in an oddball workplace where office politics really is life or death and his ex-girlfriend (Odette Yustman) is his chief competition. Worse, he’s the prime suspect when their top supervisor, The Devil (Jeffrey Tambor) turns up dead. Now, the assorted members from both teams are at each others throats to keep from being the next victims of a lethal “corporate downsizing.”

Watch Ving Rhames & Brandon T. Jackson In Trailer For “Operation: Endgame”
Here’s the first trailer (red-band, by the way) for Operation: Endgame, an action/comedy about, in short, two teams of government spies out to destroy each other, and it stars just about everybody, including, as the title of this post says, Ving Rhames and Brandon T. Jackson amongst others faces I’m sure you all would recognize – Zach Galifianakis, Maggie Q, Ellen Barkin, Rob Corddry, and more…
It looks like the flick was originally scheduled for a theatrical release, however, Anchor Bay Entertainment, its distributor, has now instead opted to unceremoniously dump the movie onto DVD, even though it looks like it very well could be fun and entertaining enough to have some life in theaters.

Here are the trailers (if you haven't checked them out already..)
